This collaborative project will unite 8 universities, dozens of faculty, and hundreds of students across Kentucky from multiple disciplines. Primary Responsibilities:

• Help with event planning and hands-on assistance of events alongside the Education, Outreach, and Communication team (both virtually and in person)
• Onsite Photography, video, and journalism (occasionally traveling to research sites in Kentucky)
• Conduct virtual or in-person interviews and write articles about student researchers
• Organizing the KY NSF EPSCoR E-Newsletter
• Help organize time-sensitive membership lists across multiple platforms using tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Canvas, Excel, and others
• Update information so CLIMBS website pages match the CLIMBS participant list
• Other organizational tasks as assigned in reference to reporting or awards, which may include compiling lists and examining data

Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesOrganizational skills, strong communication and people skills, writing, photography, videography. Basic understanding of earth and atmospheric sciences is a plus but not required.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
