Operations Specialist - Contractor
Fidelity Charitable helps donors maximize their generosity through our donor-advised fund. We are the nation’s top maker of grants to nonprofit organizations, distributing $17.8 billion to charities in 2025. We are looking for top notch operations processors to work on contributions, money movement and grants in Westlake, Texas or Salt Lake City, Utah. This contractor position supports our busiest time of year, Giving Season.
The hours are demanding, please expect to work overtime in November and December
The hourly pay rate for these positions is $22 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

The Operations Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of transactions for Fidelity Charitable customer accounts. As a member of FC’s inclusive Service Delivery team, the Operations Specialist will be part of our highly motivated, fast paced team, will possess a solid understanding of service operations, and be able to manage priorities well.

The Expertise we’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-2 years Financial Operations preferred
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail, with good follow-through
- Strong organizational, planning, multi-tasking, time management skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to follow written procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate potential areas of risk
- Working knowledge of Fidelity systems (XTRAC, RepApp), a plus

The Operations Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of transactions for Fidelity Charitable customer accounts. - Employing good sound judgment in decision making or problem resolution
- Delivering a great customer experience with each interaction to help strengthen donor relationships
- Clearly understanding and articulating the full suite of Fidelity Charitable products and services
- Process high value transactions
- Ensure daily work meets accuracy standards and is completed in a timely manner, with appropriate tracking and escalation of aging items
- Suggest process improvements and system enhancements that will increase efficiency and/or mitigate risk to the organization
- Maintain effective business relationships with Fidelity business partners with whom the position interfaces, including Legal, Risk, and Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date procedures for those functions for which responsible
