Job Title: Materials Runner (Water Spider)
Job Summary:
The Materials Runner (Water Spider) supports production by ensuring workstations are continuously supplied with materials, tools, and components to minimize downtime and maintain efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver materials and supplies to production lines.
- Replenish inventory at workstations and remove finished goods and scrap.
- Maintain material flow to prevent production interruptions.
- Assist with inventory transactions using barcode scanners or ERP systems.
- Follow 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams.
- Report material shortages, damaged inventory, or safety concerns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
