Webb Museum of Anthropology and Office of State Archaeology seeks a temporary Museum Project Assistant to assist with reorganizing museum storage and laboratory spaces.
Duties include:
Assembling shelving
Relocating cabinets and equipment
Moving archaeological collections and museum materials
Assisting with facility improvement projects
The position requires physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle museum artifacts and operate basic tools and equipment.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use hand and basic power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle fragile materials with care.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and operate the Museum’s Work Assist Vehicle (WAV).
