Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.Essential Functions- Advises students on education abroad opportunities and promotes study abroad across campus.
- Coordinates and conducts student abroad information sessions, presentations and workshops.
- Maintains affiliate relationships.
- Acts as a primary source of knowledge about student abroad opportunities on campus.
- Coordinates study abroad information sessions in the fall and spring.
- Assists with the marketing and promotion of study abroad to the campus.
- Assists in the coordination of study abroad fairs, International Education Week, and other cultural programming events which may require working nights and weekends.
- Assists with the maintenance of departmental website and Terra Dotta program pages.
- Facilitates credit transfer of student coursework abroad.
- Coordinates the arrival of incoming exchange students.
- Assists with completing annual reports as required.
- Communicates with potential, current, and returned study abroad students, faculty, and staff and represents the division as necessary.
- Works closely with Admissions and First Year Advising to provide information to new and prospective students about education abroad opportunities.
- Assists staff at front desk as necessary to ensure consistent customer service.
- Supports the Assistant Director and other staff as needed.
- Attends regional and national conference approved by the Director.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
- Related duties as required.
