Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full time Antenna Repair Technician (Engineering Technician II) in National City, California.
Summary: Under supervision perform hardware replacement, fiberglass repair, and preservation work (equipment will be depopulated/electronics removed prior to repairs) on ships antenna/radar equipment radomes, enclosures, and accessories, to include providing shipboard technical assistance as requested.
Duties and Responsibilities:.
Removes existing paint & primer coats utilizing approved solvents, power and pneumatic tools
Makes repairs to surfaces (cracks, chips, holes or other imperfections) utilizing fiberglass resins or other filler material as required
Chooses and mixes paints with reducers as necessary for application
Applies primer and/or paint to interior/exterior surfaces
Transports Antennas/Radomes to & from NAVSTA as required
Uses power tools
Supports other areas of the Offsite Product Family facility
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of related work experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license
Familiar with painting apparatus – HVLP spray guns operation, setup and maintenance
Knowledge of basic hand power and pneumatic tools
Possess basic writing and communication skills
Ability to follow direction
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to obtain and maintain DBIDS access
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $23.48- $26.26 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
ADA notations:
Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Ability to lift heavy objects (over 50 lbs)
Ability to work in a shipboard environment
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to work in varying work conditions including extreme climates
Ability to be medically certified to wear a respirator if required
