Ensure that systems are secure, dependable, scalable, and capable of supporting organization’s operations.</li><li>Collaborate with the Helpdesk Support Assistant to provide on-site and remote technical services and ensure the support requests are managed in a timely manner.</li><li>Collaborate with the web manager to provide website support.</li><li>Collaborate with the database manager and the database developer to provide membership database support.</li><li>Collaborate with the Director of Information Technology to align IT strategies with the organization's mission and objectives.</li><li>Identify cost-effective solutions to ensure that IT resources are used effectively. Provide training and support for staff members on IT systems and applications. Ensure that employees have the knowledge and skills they need to effectively use technology in their roles.</li><li>Maintain and update plans for disaster recovery and business continuity to minimize disruptions to organization’s operations in the event of IT failures or other emergencies.</li><li>Implement and enforce security protocols to protect the organization's data, networks, and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure the organization meets legal requirements.</li><li>Maintain and update documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures. Generate reports on key IT metrics, such as support tickets, security incidents, and project status, to inform the Director of Information Technology and demonstrate IT's value to the organization.</li><li>Initiate annual audits of policies and procedures, formulating compliance action items pertaining to service interactions and contractual obligations with business partners and clients.</li><li>Provide backup coverage for the Helpdesk Support Assistant.</li><li>Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware and software inventory management.</li><li>Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices, driving continuous improvement in IT processes and systems.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSE/MCSA, Azure Administrator, or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator.</li><li>5+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator</li><li>Managing cloud-based environments including Microsoft Azure and third-party hosting (e.g., Rackspace).</li><li>Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Intune, Purview, Security, Defender, and Autopilot deployment.</li><li>Familiarity with DNS records update, SSL certificates renew/reissue, and network security best practices.</li><li>Working knowledge in MS SQL server or other relational databases.</li><li>Experience with web contents editing/publishing, HTML codes and Content Management System (CMS, preferably Sitecore) management</li><li>Experience with Association Management System (AMS, preferably Momentive Software/NetForum Enterprise) management</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Ability to work onsite five days a week.</li></ul>Salary Range:&nbsp;$105,600-$120,000Benefits and Perks for Working with AAJ:<ul><li>Comprehensive health insurance which includes, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending account (FSA), and 401K with an employer match</li><li>Generous paid leave (e.g., vacation, sick, personal, parental), 11 federal holidays, and paid time off between Christmas and New Years</li><li>Subsidized metro transit and/or parking benefits</li><li>Professional development opportunities</li><li>Company social events</li><li>Office conveniently located ½ block from Gallery Place/Chinatown metro station in downtown Washington, DC</li></ul>AAJ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
