Manager, Clinical Partnerships (Radiography)

The Campus Associate Director Nursing, Clinical Operations assists with providing leadership in managing and implementing a comprehensive post-secondary adult vocational nursing program for delivery in support of College, campus, and/or departmental goals in order to assure compliance with programmatic accreditation and/or licensure, internal consistency, and graduate outcomes that meet workplace and placement expectations. Participates in budget preparation and fiscal administration, curriculum development and coordination, determination of teaching assignments, supervision and evaluation of faculty, and selection/coordination of program specific external clinical facilities and instruction. Supports Manager of Student Experience lead development of sites to meet current and future placement needs.</li><li>Collaborates with the Campus Assistant Director of Nursing, Academics in support of full- time faculty assigned in the clinical setting.</li><li>Coordinates a plan to best observe, instruct, and evaluate students learning and clinical practical skills and faculty performance which includes a direct observation clinical assessment of skills in applicable setting for related area of instruction.</li><li>Plans and provides for the practical, clinical or field experience as well as the appropriate documentation required by clinical affiliates in order for students to be placed promptly in their clinical rotations/assignments.</li><li>Monitors clinical affiliations/contracts, rotations, visits to clinical facilities and skills/simulation lab activities, and maintains written record on all clinical visits including incident reports.</li><li>Provides follow-up and resolution plan to Campus Director of Nursing for issues identified with students and faculty in the clinical setting.</li><li>Ensures clinical faculty assess student knowledge and skill level in order to promote safety and optimal care to patients assigned to the clinical site.</li><li>Oversees and manages operations associated with fostering and maintaining relationships with the clinical partners as well as the development and retention of clinical sites.</li><li>Oversee administrative staff to ensure proper documentation of clinical attendance, clinical scheduling, clinical files, background and immunization and other required is maintained.</li><li>Assures required clinical site onboarding and training for department staff is conducted; improves retention and morale and performance efficiencies related to clinical site experiences. As a Radiography Tech Faculty member for a certified Great Place to Work, you will guide nursing students to do more than change their own lives – you will help change the lives of every patient they treat throughout their career in healthcare.&nbsp; At American Career College you will have the opportunity to share your success story with the next generation of Radiography Technicians as a key member of our student-centered, innovative community!You will make an impact by:<ul><li>Delivering class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods.</li><li>Developing daily lesson plans; advises and tutors students; maintains current and accurate attendance and grade records.</li><li>Remaining current in applicable program teaching field.</li><li>Participating in faculty meetings, professional growth activities in the respective field and two (2) in-service training sessions annually.</li><li>Participating in college activities such as in-services, faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.</li><li>Striving for student success by providing quality instruction that results in students’ achievement of course and program objectives, retention of students, and prepares students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field.</li></ul>Your Experience Includes:<ul><li>Must have a minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience in the subject field or closely related field. Of those three (3) years, two (2) years must be full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.</li><li>Must have a minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience in the subject areas taught or demonstrate prior training in instructional methodology and teaching skills from a formal teacher educational program or any comparable training program or formal in-house training program.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Baccalaureate degree.</li><li>Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.</li><li>Current CRT permit (State of California certification).</li><li>Current CPR Card.</li></ul>Do you want a career that allows you to make a difference in other people’s lives?
