In addition, Aspire Health Alliance offers a competitive package of compensation and benefits.Under the direction of the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization Nurse Manager and working with the A-CCS Nurses and Prescribing Professionals, works to provide specialized care to adults in a 24-hour behavioral health crisis stabilization setting.Responsible for:<ul><li>Monitoring and Documenting medication self administration during clients’ stay</li><li>Monitoring client physical medical issues and working with Mental Health Workers to arrange for acute medical care for clients when needed</li><li>Facilitating health and wellness groups and activities</li><li>Delivering treatment interventions that are strength based and solution-focused </li><li>Encouraging consumer completed risk management/safety plans and Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP)</li><li>Coordinating with clients’ outpatient and A-CCS care providers</li><li>Completing documentation per shift as assigned </li><li>Participating in ongoing required training</li></ul>Required:<ul><li>Must demonstrate the following characteristics: reliable, responsible, team player, ability to grow and learn in the position, detail-oriented, organized, flexible, capacity to provide support and quality care to improve the physical and mental health of individuals served.</li><li>Must be an independent problem-solver, able to work with minimal supervision when necessary</li><li>One-year experience in an acute mental health and/or dual diagnosis setting (preferred)</li><li>Familiarity with Recovery oriented treatment for severe mental illness (preferred) </li><li>Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelor’s degree)</li><li>Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration</li></ul>Schedule is Monday through Friday 3-11pmLPN shift differentials for the Stabilization Unit position are: <ul><li>7a – 11p (Sat &amp; Sun only) = Base + $1.00</li><li>11p – 7a (ANY day of the week) = Base + $2.00</li><li>3-11pm (Monday through Friday) = Base + $1.00 </li></ul>Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. In addition, Aspire Health Alliance offers a competitive package of compensation and benefits.The Emergency Triage Coordinator serves as a key member of the Emergency Service Team to provide the smooth coordination and delivery of crisis services. The Emergency Triage Coordinator is the first point of contact for all telephonic information flow and crisis referral requests from clients, families, and community providers on a 24/7/365 basis. Triage screens and assigns cases to Master’s Level Clinicians, Family Partners and Peers as determined by risk and safety, immediacy of need, location, and according to insurance requirements. This individual will work in conjunction with the ESP management team to ensure that the team is providing the highest quality of care to persons served and in compliance with our quality initiatives.RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Triage phone calls and provide support and counseling to clients, families, and community referrals in need of ESP assistance and/or evaluations </li><li>Assist clinicians in performing bed searches for clients awaiting placement for a higher level of care</li><li>Ability to navigate medical record system (Avatar) for each referral as a standard practice (Updating/adding clients, scanning of paper documents, adding Alerts, Service Addendums, and Final Dispositions</li><li>Provide information and referrals to phone contacts</li><li>Gather appropriate risk information and direct clients, families, and community members in accessing and utilizing supports</li><li>Consult with Director or Assistant Director regarding high risk cases and conflict resolution when deemed necessary</li><li>Assist in provision of follow-up treatment including the scheduling of follow-up emergency services appointments and completion of paperwork related to triage activity </li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field, required.</li><li>Minimum of one year experience in a mental health setting working in a crisis intervention setting</li><li>Has working knowledge of the systems involved with ESP services.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with outside agencies including hospitals, police, schools and insurance providers.</li><li>Skills required to maintain professional and therapeutic communication while working with agitated or distressed clients.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.</li><li>Ability to forge mutually beneficial relationships with people served while maintaining strong boundaries/ethics.</li></ul>Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses.
