This position plays a vital role in ensuring quality and timely deliveries of our fiber services to customers. This candidate will perform prep and fusion of single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cables for both inside and outside plant construction. They will be performing fiber panel audits and splice case audits, as well as properly placing mid-sheath splices.Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform prep and fusion of single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cables for both inside and outside plant construction.</li><li>Perform fiber panel audits and splice case audits.</li><li>Properly place mid-sheath splices.</li><li>Test and troubleshoot fiber using an OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifier and scope.</li><li>Perform installation and testing of fiber cross connects</li><li>Work with Construction Project Managers and Fiber Design to perform splicing as directed.</li><li>Provide Fiber Design team with detailed reports of field splicing activity.</li><li>Perform all work as necessary to conform to quality control guidelines (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as: OSHA, FCC, NESC and NEC, etc.;
