If you are ready to challenge yourself, accelerate your career, and give new hope to patients, there’s no better place than here at BMS with our Cell Therapy team.The Team Lead, Product Logistics Cell Therapy is responsible for providing on the floor supervision and participate in materials management activities across the Cell Therapy Facility, specifically focusing on patient material receipt and shipments.Shifts Available:Panama schedule (12-hour shift patterns with a 2-2-3 work cycle including weekends and holidays)<ul><li>6 a.m. to 6 p.m.</li></ul>Responsibilities:Leadership<ul><li>Perform daily scheduling &amp; supervision of job assignments for Material receipt and shipments.</li><li>Provide coaching to Material Operations personnel in the areas of Safety, Quality &amp; productivity.</li><li>Ensure a safe work environment is maintained in all areas where Material Operations activities occur.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional employees &amp; department managers to solve work-related problems and perform run-the-business activities</li><li>Identify changes in documentation and equipment as part of continuous improvement; initiate changes and follow through to implementation (document approval &amp; training)</li></ul>General Work Activities<ul><li>Partner with Cell Therapy Manufacturing &amp; Quality to lead readiness for prompt receipt, inspection and start of processing for patient material</li><li>Coordinate, pack &amp; ship materials to both domestic and international markets, including hazardous materials</li><li>Adhere to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures</li><li>Lead in maintaining material inventory accuracy using required systems and equipment</li><li>Support process investigations &amp; CAPAs</li><li>Provide oversight and suggestions on special projects such as validation of Material Operations areas</li></ul>Document &amp; Work Review<ul><li>Assist in reviewing area documents, such as logbooks &amp; worksheets.&nbsp;</li><li>Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required</li><li>Verify SAP transactions of inventoried materials and their movements.&nbsp; Troubleshoot inventory/transaction errors</li></ul>Knowledge &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Experience working with production and ERP systems (SAP, MES etc.)</li><li>Experience with Liquid Nitrogen handling preferred</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office applications</li><li>Knowledge of cGMP/Pharmaceutical regulations</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated experience to effectively communicate problem statements and escalate concerns</li><li>Demonstrated experience to present data and analyses in an organized, clear and concise manner</li><li>Demonstrated experience to coach less experienced group members</li><li>Demonstrated experience to work independently for extended periods of time</li></ul>Basic Requirements:<ul><li>High school Diploma / GED</li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in warehousing (preferably GMP) or performing material operations activities</li></ul>Preferred Requirements: <ul><li>Additional post-secondary education resulting in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred</li><li>An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute</li><li>Preferred but not required: Certification in CPIM, CSCP, and/or CLTD</li></ul>BMSCARTGPS_2025#LI-OnsiteIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
