<h2>Basic Purpose</h2>
The Sanitor assists with for cleaning &amp; sanitizing of all surfaces &amp; equipment in the food production and storage areas, and building structure.
Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high speed manufacturing environment.&nbsp; 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Cleaning &amp; sanitizing of all surfaces &amp; equipment in the food production and storage areas</li>
<li>Disassembling equipment</li>
<li>Read chemical labels to ensure safe applications</li>
<li>Handle, mix and store cleaning chemicals</li>
<li>Add specified amounts of chemicals to equipment at required times to maintain solution levels and concentrations</li>
<li>Dry and Wet cleaning of Food contact surfaces, equipment and building structure</li>
<li>Clean and sanitize equipment using chemicals and foamier, pressure wash and/or sanitation sprayer</li>
<li>Manually scrub certain areas of machines using brushes, scrapers or scrub pads</li>
<li>Clean floors using powered floor scrubber</li>
<li>Perform varying tasks while standing, lifting, crouching, etc. during long periods of time</li>
<li>Lift cleaning materials and production equipment manually</li>
<li>Follow all Health and Safety guidelines established for this position</li>
<li>Supports all efforts to improve, maintain and validate safety and sanitation practices and procedures</li>
<li>Other responsibilities as assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or (GED) required</li>
<li>Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English or Spanish.</li>
<li>Previous experience working in a Food production environment preferred but not essential</li>
<li>Food safety and sanitation knowledge is a plus</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude is a plus</li>
<li>Successful candidates will be able to work well in a team setting</li>
<li>Weekend work is required: You will work approximately (3) (12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday &amp; Sunday)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to work any shift and to change shifts or work extended shifts to provide coverage for vacations and absences or changes in schedules due to business demands</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed</li>
</ul>

Compensation and Benefits:

<h2>Overview/Purpose: </h2>
Manages the plant environmental, health and safety programs to ensure a safe and incident-free work environment. Partners with the Plant Senior Leadership Team establishing direction and policy for the entire operation, while acting as a Change Agent, requiring the ability to manage continuous improvement initiatives across all departments and all levels within the organization.
Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.&nbsp; 
<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Coordinates all aspects of plant environmental, health and safety ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. </li>
<li>Actively interact with employees to promote safe acts. Leads and influences the organization to drive world class level safety performance.</li>
<li>Champions the Safety Committee process and encourage greater participation and provide support and direction in an effort to instill an employee driven safety structure.</li>
<li>Promote plant safety by working closely with all departments to analyze current situations and recommend safety improvements. Develops, implements and recommends programs and practices designed to reduce work-related injuries and illnesses including but not limited to ergonomic assessments and job hazard analysis.</li>
<li>Analyze incident data to identify trends and incident types that can be prevented.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental or Occupational Health Sciences, or a related field.</li>
<li>Bi-lingual with Spanish speaking and writing skills preferred.</li>
<li>Understanding of basic principles of the SQF program and other food safety policies/procedures</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Strong Organizational, Written, Verbal and group or individual Presentation skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage priorities and workflow.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.</li>
<li>Detail orientation with exceptional accuracy.</li>
