Job Purpose:&nbsp;The Information Processing Specialist assists and advises students on all financial aid inquiries including account requirements, account status, SAP status, federal, state, local and institutional awards; conducts data entry of documents that are required for processing of student financial aid applications; reviews information for accuracy and completeness; and manages and maintains student financial aid records.
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for understanding and implementing the rules and regulations of federal, state, institutional, foundation, and agency financial aid to include approximately 17 different awards that apply additional rules to various types of aid.</li>
<li>Responsible for counseling students in reference to all areas of financial aid to include all student financial aid offers and balances of aid; withdrawal procedures and the consequences for satisfactory progress; repayment of aid; professional judgments; and appeal policies and procedures for all programs.</li>
<li>Responsible for assisting and advising Senators Central, other campuses personnel on referrals and inquiries; assisting and/or advising students with financial aid inquiries; receiving the documents required for processing student financial aid applications through USPS mail, campus mail, fax or in-person, and ensuring all information is accurate and complete. Responsible for inputting submitted documents into electronic data system. Responsible for assisting with monitoring student enrollment and attendance; monitoring academic progress to ensure compliance with Title IV requirements; assist supervisor and other staff in reviewing reports; and reviewing Federal Work Study Time sheets.</li>
<li>Maintain office filing and general organization; order office supplies as needed through purchasing software; receive and process orders; input travel authorizations and purchase orders through purchasing software; and receipt all items necessary in purchasing software.</li>

A staff position designed to establish and administer programs and strategies for recruiting students. Recruiters will report to the Director of Enrollment Services and collaborate with other advisors, recruiters, administrative staff, and faculty to oversee the college’s effectiveness in meeting the needs of the students.&nbsp;
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Specialist, Instructional Designer
    

The Patrol Officer (Police Officer 1) supports students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors by monitoring activity on campus for the purpose of maintaining peace and enforcing laws and supports the college by ensuring a safe educational and work environment. The Henry County Campus (HCC) is the home campus for this position. However, the officer may be required to perform police duties at the other DSCC campus locations.&nbsp;
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs foot and vehicle patrols of campus to preserve the peace and enforce the rules and regulations of the college, state, federal and local laws, directs and manages vehicular traffic, secures and unlocks campus areas as needed.
Responds to calls for service; investigates motor vehicle incidents, criminal offenses, and non-criminal incidents; and takes appropriate law enforcement or investigative action.&nbsp; Monitors and reviews security camera recordings to assist in investigations and to ensure safety for the campus community.

      Campus Police Officer, Henry County Center
    

This regular, part-time (85%) position works 44 weeks per year and is responsible for assisting the head women’s basketball coach with organizing and coaching the women’s basketball team and overseeing academic success. The position reports directly to the head women’s basketball coach and Athletic Director, in the Division of External Affairs.

Job Summary
This is a full-time, academic-year (9 months), one-year (renewable) appointment within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The faculty member is responsible for the planning and delivery of quality classroom instruction across multiple delivery formats, assessment of student learning, and service to the shared governance of the college.
