This individual will work closely with originators throughout the life cycle of a transaction and must be able to effectively interact with multiple stakeholders (originators, credit, accounting, operations, and legal).&nbsp;</p><p>This position currently offers an onsite hybrid work schedule, with the expectation that you are in the office four (4) days per week during onsite core days.&nbsp; Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.&nbsp; The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion.</p><h5><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></h5><ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for the main loan servicer and sub-servicer, and as a secondary point of contact for borrowers, ensuring all inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.</li><li>Analyze loan documents to evaluate structural features and apply appropriate concepts to Asset Management requests.</li><li>Perform independent, ongoing loan surveillance and asset management to ensure compliance with loan terms and property performance; They will be responsible for reviewing their work prior to it being submitted to the Audit Manager for review.</li><li>Additional Duties:</li></ul><ul><ul><li>This individual will become familiar with our data analytic tools and will work with the Audit Director to incorporate data analytical routines in all audits, and remain vigilant for other areas where data could be utilized.</li><li>Perform timely follow-up with management to ensure compliance with agreed upon action plans in relation to audit observations.</li><li>Provide support to the Audit Director, Deputy Chief Auditor and VP Audit &amp; Risk Services on special projects as assigned.</li></ul></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting, Finance or similar field preferred</li><li>1-3 years of experience in the field of public accounting and/or internal audit required, emphasis in financial services preferred.</li><li>Clear, effective and confident verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to conduct an effective interview and/or present information in one-on-one and small group situations to business unit staff and/or Management, audit team and External Auditors.</li><li>Ability to learn and apply basic auditing standards and techniques.</li><li>Licensure: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or desire and aptitude necessary to obtain preferred</li><li>Ability to travel within the continental U.S. approximately 10% of the year.</li><li>Ability to pass a background check.</li></ul><br><h6>The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position.
