Work includes managing systems administration and integration strategy activities to facilitate data flow in and out of enterprise systems. Work is performed with considerable independence and reviewed by a superior for attainment of program goals, completion of projects, quality and effectiveness of services provided, and overall performance. Supervision is exercised over internal staff and external consultants engaged in enterprise integration and administration activities.<h2>Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Supervises, plans, and organizes the Systems Integration &amp; Administration unit’s operations and staff functions including performance management, delegation of work assignments, and review of work product.</li><li>Provides oversight and/or participates in project teams regarding system work efforts related to system administration and integration for enterprise systems. Provides guidance and determines how to best support the needs of the end user. Ensures technical solutions are based on best enterprise system design practices.</li><li>Responsible for the design, analysis, integration, system administration, and maintenance of enterprise applications, configurations, and solutions. Ensures that detailed specifications of enterprise integration processes/procedures are properly documented and maintained.</li><li>Reviews and analyzes proposed system changes and change requests to determine other potential impacts. Ensures overall efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Ensures the appropriate technical support is provided to work teams and end users regarding their specific systems, solutions, and processes. Assists with complex/escalated issues by troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving concerns.</li><li>Supervises the build, maintenance, execution, and validation of the testing process and ensures the application/technical environment meets performance requirements.</li><li>Reviews and approves the technical preparation of business process procedures, test scenarios, end-user documentation, and user manuals. Oversees and assists with knowledge transfer and training to ensure compliance with departmental standards and requirements.</li><li>Reviews and analyzes changes to legislation, contracts, regulations, business operating procedures, and/or systems that may impact business processes. Determines what changes may be necessary to incorporate within the enterprise system software.</li><li>Utilizes various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties.</li><li>Uses situational awareness to anticipate and prevent accidents.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Performs related duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Eleven (11) years of experience in systems integration and/or systems administration of enterprise custom objects or systems in at least one (or a combination) of the areas/environments listed below; OR Seven (7) years of experience in systems integration and/or systems administration of enterprise custom objects or systems in at least one (or a combination) of the areas/environments listed below AND a bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
