Title: Adjunct Instructor - Accounting (Pool)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in an equitable environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences. Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email account and department mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends. Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s Degree and 18 graduate hours in Accounting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s Degree in Accounting
CPA License
College level teaching experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Rate of Pay: $650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour

Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Teach courses via on ground as assigned. Teach evening, off-campus, and distance-based courses as required.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Post grades during the term for student feedback and submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Complete required College trainings and complete all required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions and administer and return surveys by the required deadlines. Advise the Program Chair or Dean at the earliest possibility if you are unable to teach a class. Attend meetings as requested by the Program Chair and/or Dean. Minimum Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field with at least eighteen (18) credit hours in graduate level Accounting from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate level teaching experience.
