You will partner across various business units, technology teams, and product/platform teams to define and implement the data governance strategy, supervising and leading data quality, resolving data/platform issues, and driving consistency, usability, and governance of specific product data across the enterprise.How will you make an impact in this role?<ul><li>Develop advanced knowledge on the Enterprise Data Management Operating Policy in order to effectively execute and comply with the policy requirements.</li><li>Build advanced platform expertise to influence the identification of critical data elements and contribute to the roadmap to govern the data elements.</li><li>Perform holistic platform data quality monitoring, including but not limited to key reports</li><li>Define, Test, Deploy and Enhance the data risk management controls</li><li>Identify data incidents, performing root-cause-analysis of data incidents and driving remediation of audit and regulatory feedback.</li><li>Coordinate with Business Units and other Business Unit Data Offices to ensure System level Lineage is documented completely and accurately</li><li>Collaborate with and influence product managers to ensure all new use cases are managed according to policy.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of work experience relating to data governance and/or data management programs.</li><li>Experience in Data Management and Governance concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, etc.)</li><li>Proficient in SQL &amp; Python or other programming language.</li><li>Ability to understand business challenges and strategies and translating those to relevant data governance and management requirements to improve compliance and efficiency.</li><li>Skilled in developing clear and structured documentation.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to influence and engage at multiple levels and cross functionally.</li><li>Willingness to test, learn, fail and improve.</li><li>Prior experience with Agile or SAFe project methodologies.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other similar fields.</li></ul>GuardianSalary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
