Title: Manager, User Support Services
POSITION SUMMARY To manage the office and classroom computer hardware and software support staff, Extended Campus computer technicians and the Help Desk staff; to ensure that all administrative and academic end point computing requirements are satisfied in a timely and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assigns projects and supervises the activities of the computer hardware and software technicians across the college’s campuses. Supervises the Technology Services Help Desk. Participates in selection and development of support staff. Interviews and makes hiring recommendations. Provides training, guidance, performance evaluation, and, when necessary, recommends disciplinary action or discharge of personnel. Assists with the writing of bid specifications and the ordering of hardware and software products. Conducts and maintains an Asset Management System of computer equipment, software, and associated peripherals in assigned areas. Plans budget for section, TAF cycle replacements, and Administrative and Faculty replacements. Assists the Director of Technology Services with the establishment of security procedures, disaster recovery planning, and Standards and Procedures Manual. Evaluates USS employees and makes recommendations for promotions and personnel changes.

The Upward Bound Director will also provide direct services to Upward Bound participants.

Position Summary: The overall purpose of this job is to provide functional support of third-party payment systems including posting, balancing and reconciling incoming payments to the College. Responsible for assisting users with upgrades, implementations, troubleshooting, documentation, training, and reporting in order to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Functions: 
35% Coordinate testing, training, troubleshooting, and documentation for third-party payment systems to include Touchnet (Bill + Payment, Cashiering, Marketplace), Blackbaud, CampusCE, US Bank, Flywire and others as added. Test and implement new updates as modifications to the systems arise.&nbsp; Perform system management of third-party payment systems tables.&nbsp;
20% Prepare daily deposits. Review cash reports and the data entry of cash receipts in the check register daily. Assure timely and accurate processing of all funds receipted. Review daily bank reports and list payments in the check register, code data entry and research account numbers.
10% Assist with posting and supervise the audit and reconciliation of dual enrollment Lottery grant funds, to include fee calculation, eligibility and drawdown of funds. Oversight of local scholarship funds to ensure posted accurately to student accounts, adjustments, returns to scholarship organization, payment to bookstore, reconciliation and maintenance of records. Responsible for coordinating and posting payments for state, federal and community partnership programs, including the Knoxville and Oak Ridge Electrical Partnership program. Ensure third party letters of guarantee are posted to student accounts accurately, timely and in compliance with program requirements. Monitor billing and payment to ensure funds have been received. Coordinate with Admissions, Records and academic departments as needed to identify and resolve any questions.
10% Manage the processes for accepting credit card and check payments and processing direct deposit student refunds through the Touchnet payment system. Submit, review, and reconcile reports in web registration system. Identify and resolve all discrepancies. Record transactions in the college check register.&nbsp; Prepare documentation; code and submit data entry for Banner Finance.
10% Responsible for Marketplace portal maintenance and setup of events, developing and customizing store fronts based on college staff needs. Coding and reconciling payments received through Marketplace and ensuring feeds to Banner.
5% Assist with review of student accounts for expunge processing utilizing knowledge and understanding of student accounts including student aid programs, account charges and payments of all types.
5% Process all student credit card refunds, including calculation of refund amounts, and enter data both into Banner and into the Touchnet Cashiering System. Identify and resolve all inaccuracies.
5% Coordinate the intake and review of student refund appeals, including communicating with students regarding needed documents and outcome of appeals.

Job Requirements:&nbsp; 
Associate’s degree with three years of progressively responsible experience (accounting or business-related major preferred).
OR
High School diploma/GED with five years of progressively responsible experience.
Experience with Banner Student/Finance, Touchnet or other third-party payment systems in a college setting preferred.
Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience.

This role provides strategic leadership for college-wide initiatives that enhance instructional excellence and student success. The Director designs, implements, and assesses faculty development programming focused on evidence-based pedagogy, high-impact practices (HIPs), and instructional technology integration. The role supports all faculty, with targeted outreach to adjunct and dual enrollment instructors, and collaborates across academic and student affairs divisions to embed innovative teaching practices. Job Summary
The Campus Police Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment, protecting the assets and interest of the institution, and enforcing laws, policy and regulations. Officer performs a variety of police duties in patrolling assigned areas on foot and by motor vehicle to detect crime and to arrest violators; patrolling parking lots and college buildings to ensure security and safety.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Patrol the campus by foot and motor vehicle.</li>
<li>Checks doors and locks.</li>
<li>Investigate accidents involving persons or property, reports probable cause of accidents, and pursues appropriate courses of action.</li>
<li>Ensure that all incidents and arrest activities are properly documented.</li>
<li>Ability to proficiently operate law enforcement equipment (including lethal and non-lethal weapons necessary in the performance of required duties.)</li>

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent. • Meet the requirements of TCA 38-8-106 Qualification of Police Officers. • Meet the requirements of a Certified Police Officer per TCA 38-8-107. • Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations and to determine proper course of action. • Must be able to obtain a clear background check. • Must be Tennessee POST (Peace Office Standard &amp; Training) Certified or have a law enforcement certification recognized and accepted by the POST Commission of TN, or ability to become a P.O.S.T. certified within 6 months from hire date. • Must be physically, morally, and psychologically fit to meet the requirements of Peace Officer in the state of Tennessee. • Possess a valid Tennessee Driver’s License. • Must be willing to work different shifts, holidays, and multiple locations if needed.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field • Working knowledge of Title IX as it relates to law enforcement, the Clery Act and other federal and state campus safety rules and regulations • Experience working in a campus safety and security environment, as well as knowledge of situations that are unique to college students, events and functions • Experience in emergency management and safety preparedness in a higher education environment • Established relationships with local law enforcement agencies
