The Clinical Educator evaluates and contributes to oversight of&nbsp; student performance during onsite immersions, plays a critical role in modeling and shaping the clinical skills of students, and is responsible for providing hands-on supervision of clinical skill development and support&nbsp; during onsite immersions. General Summary
This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position. Essential Functions

Additionally, you will counsel and advise students on academic preparation and career goals and work to retain students in the program.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a site on the college's Learning Management System (eLearn) platform where class documents (syllabi, classroom information, quizzes, tests, etc.) are stored and available for students to access anytime.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain the program curriculum. Maintain an active advisory committee that meets twice a year and covers industry and program needs.</li>
<li>Professional Growth: Remain current within assigned instruction, related occupational areas, and technologies; acquire, maintain, and apply knowledge of current instructional methodologies and materials; attend scheduled college, divisional, professional development, and in-service activities; and participate in the annual faculty evaluation process.</li>

This position will work 37.5 hours a week Monday to Thursday with a thirty-minute lunch each day.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of Technical Diploma in instructional area or equivalent higher education with credentials in related field. A comparable combination of education and directly related work experience may be considered. Minimum three (3) years of experience in the Diesel Mechanics field, preferably within the last five (5) years. Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to provide individual and small group mathematics supplemental instruction to students, and to assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to help students clarify their mathematical learning and develop the study skills to be successful in their mathematics courses.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students seeking assistance with various math courses offered at the community college.
• Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, using different teaching methods and approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Promote the use of learning strategies to help teach students how to learn.
• Ask guiding questions to encourage student thinking as students work on their homework assignments and exam preparation.
• Conduct review sessions to reinforce understanding and retention of material.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes learner autonomy, confidence and academic growth.
• Collaborate with faculty members and academic advisors to stay informed about course curriculum, assignments, and student learning objectives.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities provided by the college to enhance tutoring skills and effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Successful completion of at least one of the following courses (MATH 1010, MATH 1050, MATH 1530, MATH 1130, MATH 1710,) or higher, with a minimum grade of a “B.” A GPA of at least 3.0 is preferred for this position
 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of mathematics A positive, supportive and motivating attitude Interpersonal skills, particularly patience, tact and courtesy Ability to coach students to improve their mathematical reasoning skills Experience with online homework platforms such as MyOpenMath, MyMathLab, ALEKS, and commonly used calculators Effective oral and written communication
