POSITION SUMMARY This position provides a broad range of specialized laboratory support and guidance to full-time faculty and adjuncts for laboratory science courses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works independently under the direction of science faculty. Sets up supplies, materials and equipment for biology and chemistry laboratories, both for individual stations and for instructor-led demonstrations. The Relational Advisor (RA) will provide academic guidance and advisement to students on policies, procedures, and program requirements to fulfill a certificate or degree program and will proactively participate in the planning and delivery of academic advising services for students and subpopulations that promote comprehensive educational opportunities. Responsible for sustaining an environment of academic and professional excellence for students, providing proactive outreach, referrals, and intervention with student populations via several communication methods. The RA maintains student engagement and academic progression by tracking the advancement of students from inception to graduation.

Position Summary:&nbsp;This position aims to safely deliver students to and from events, including athletic and student club functions or field trips.
Duties and&nbsp;Responsibilities:
100%- Operates, cleans, maintains, fuels, and inspects a 27-passenger and a 15-passenger bus. Maintains accurate records of hours of service and miles driven. Performs simple repairs to keep the buses safe and operable. Overnight travel could be a possibility. Performs other duties as assigned.

 Required&nbsp;Qualifications:&nbsp;
A valid Commercial Drivers License required; At least a high school diploma or an equivalent (GED) required. 1-2 years experience with driving with a CDL preferred. Must be 21 years of age; 1-2 years experience with driving with a CDL preferred
(Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics:
<ol>
<li>General knowledge of bus operation, including engine, transmission, cooling systems, safety features, basic electrical and vehicle HVAC.</li>
<li>Ability to operate a bus safely.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle laws</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to diagnose mechanical knowledge.</li>
<li>Excellent time management skills.</li>

Current, unencumbered TN or multi-state RN license, current AHA CPR certification, 2 years of hospital clinical experience with use of electronic health records and clinical care technologies, and must also meet placement requirements of clinical agency.
