Job Summary
Part time faculty are hired as needed on a semester-to-semester basis and typically teach up to nine credit hours during the semester. Job Purpose:&nbsp;This is a one-year Tennessee Department of Labor grant full-time position ending 06/30/2026. The purpose of this position is to organize meetings with local key stakeholders and assist the Director in communicating information about grant activities. The nursing facilitator will teach designated allied health training programs. This position requires oversight on online Allied Health training programs. The nursing facilitator will be responsible for scheduling and reporting clinical activities for designated programs. The nursing facilitator will perform at least 1875 hours on RHWDI grant activities. This position will involve administrative support for WFT Allied Health Director, as needed. 
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Teach allied health courses in the classroom/laboratory/ clinical settings. Instruction in other specialty areas may be required. May teach large or small groups.</li>
<li>Participate in stakeholder meetings and presentations, student advising, departmental and divisional meetings. Evaluate student learning and maintain class records. Assess educational outcome measures and complete academic reporting as required.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain partnerships with clinical agencies to facilitate student clinical learning experiences. Clinical experiences will include other allied health programs requiring clinicals.</li>
<li>Provide instruction in technology-enhanced class settings, including interactive streaming and online distance learning and technology, as needed.</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Required Qualifications:

<li>Minimum of an associate degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution.

<li>Possess current licensure as a nurse in Tennessee.

<li>Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience.

<li>Teaching experience with a group of individuals.

<li>Have ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain important interpersonal relationships with others

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is accepting applications for the Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor position to work at the TCAT Knoxville Main Campus. This position will typically work 18 to 30 hours per week. POSITION SUMMARY: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories. PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM: The Practical Nursing Program is approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. Graduates will obtain a diploma in Practical Nursing and may then be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nursing (NCLEX-PN) used to obtain nursing licensure in Tennessee. Practical Nursing is entry-level nursing. Graduates are prepared with the background and skills to give knowledgeable, basic nursing care to patients with varying degrees of physical needs. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. Positions are available in hospitals, long-term care facilities, physician's offices, home health agencies, and various other healthcare settings.
