Part-time Skills Instructors are hired on an as-needed basis, and may not work more than 19.5 hours per week. Skills Instructors may work days or evenings with occasional weekends as assigned, depending on the needs of the department.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Provides instruction and evaluation of Pharmacy Technology students while in the classroom or lab environment</li><li>Acts as a liaison between the lead instructor, the student, and the Pharmacy Technology Director</li><li>Notifies the lead instructor or Pharmacy Technology Director of appropriate incidents in the classroom or lab environment, as well as provide regular reports of student progress</li><li>Acts as an ambassador of the Pharmacy Technology Program</li><li>Completes paperwork as requested by the Pharmacy Technology program to include timesheets, evaluation forms, program evaluations, and evaluations of the students</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<ul><li>Must be able to perform all practice skills required to meet the standards of the program</li></ul>PHYSICAL ABILITIES:The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile.
