STD Program - Nurse Coordinator

<dt><h4>Description</h4></dt>Licensed Practical Nurse 3Immunization Program CoordinatorDistrict 4 Public Health301 Main StreetLaGrange, GA 30240 Manages the planning and implementation of the immunization program for all District 4 Clinics based on recommendations from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Travel required to all 12 counties.&nbsp;All District 4 Public Health, County BOH employees are deemed essential employees in the event of an emergency. Acts as the subject matter expert for the District providing technical assistance and training for public health nursing staff and other stakeholders. a. Ensures that county staff have proper training and knowledge to perform immunization assessments at all childcare, kindergarten, and seventh grade programs (public and private) and that all data collected is entered into SENDSS. b. Collaborates with the District Immunization Program Consultant to develop an annual educational plan to include the education of all District 4 Clinic staff, private providers, schools, daycare centers, and the public. c. Completes the Train the Trainer Training annually. Ensures that all immunization clinical personnel receive initial and annual training as needed and that VFC training requirements are met. d. Ensures programmatic changes and current vaccine information is disseminated to the county managers and nurses. 3. Evaluates the vaccination status of disease contacts and public health employees to prevent the spread of vaccine preventable diseases. a. Collaborates with the District Epidemiologist and infection disease unit to assess immunization status of patients involved in a vaccine-preventable disease outbreak/investigation and to coordinate administration of post-exposure vaccination of exposed persons. b. Evaluates the vaccination status of District employees, provides education related to District policy. 4. Provides educational presentations and tools and oversees community marketing efforts. a. Promotes all CDC immunization campaigns through educational outreach and marketing. 5. Assist the District Nursing Director with managing the budget allocation for the program. 6. Member of the Devens Site Leadership team and the BioPharma BI&amp;T Leadership team. The incumbent will also be a standing member of the Devens Campus leadership team.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead a matrixed organization composed of both site direct reports and groups of indirect reports to deliver effective, innovative, and foundational solutions that realized of the site’s next generation digital vision of a Smart Factory.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing information technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Strong contributor to the Biologics Operations Leadership and Devens Campus Leadership Teams and develops strategic and collaborative partnerships with them. Is a trusted partner and advisor to all stakeholders on site, demonstrating deep domain knowledge of shop floor operations.</li><li>Responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of digital capabilities for Devens Commercial and Clinical Manufacturing, Devens site Product Development (automation), and Laboratory Operations that ensure maximal use of the site manufacturing capacity. The role will also provide automation hardware and IT infrastructure support for the Devens Cell Therapy facility.</li><li>Responsible for 24x7 operational support across all capabilities with a primary focus on automation (control systems), information technology, site infrastructure and computer system validation used in manufacturing and laboratories operations.</li><li>Responsible to strategically adapt digital capabilities required to prosecute the BMS biologics pipeline with agility and urgency.</li><li>Responsible to strategically align site digital QC Lab operations with business applications teams across all commercial sites.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee the development and management of the IT budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals. Negotiate and manage contracts with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.</li><li>People leadership responsibilities for a team of 40+ IT and automation professionals plus many more consultants and contractors. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.</li><li>Demonstrate matrix leadership of IT resources in other IT functions: responsible for ensuring that all IT functions are successful in their delivery of services to the Devens site.&nbsp; Key matrix IT partner functions include internal and strategic external partners.</li><li>Promote a safe and compliant environment and mindset.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Information Systems and/or Data Processing) or in Computer, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.</li><li>12+ years industry experience in IT positions with 4+ years of leadership responsibilities and 6+ years of technical hands-on experience.</li><li>Recognized as a transformational leader who has demonstrated ability to lead the strategic planning and implementation of digital capabilities in a multi-site global manufacturing network.</li><li>Implementation of large-scale digital capabilities related to commercial, clinical, and research manufacturing operations including process automation, manufacturing execution and lab systems.</li><li>Track record of effectively communicating, influencing, and partnering with senior business leaders to deliver superior business results.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain technical people leaders and build high performing teams.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GxP, particularly as relates to IT (21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, etc.) and experience working in a Pharmaceutical GMP environment.</li><li>Experience with application of Syncade MES, DeltaV, Aveeva Pi, SAP, LIMS/ELN and finite scheduling in biologics manufacturing.
