POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Accounting.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators/directors to ensure consistent student experiences. Utilize the college’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Maintain and submit updated department syllabi prior to the first day of class. Regularly check College email and departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 24 hours except on the weekend. Complete all required reports such as student engagement, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions; administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the required deadlines. Engage in departmental institutional effectiveness activities. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar. Work with students as academic advisor as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Accounting; OR
Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting Topics and a current CPA license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Documented experience teaching at the college level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. 
Environment: Work is performed in a classroom and shop setting with frequent interruptions and distractions. The majority of work performed (30 hours per week) will be instructing and training students, with the remaining 7.5 hours utilized for grading, recording attendance, and individual student meetings.&nbsp;
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a classroom and clinical health care setting.
SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience according to Tennessee Board of Regents guidelines within the ranges of $50,894 - $61,074.

TCAT Pulaski is accepting applications for the full-time, 10-month position of Computer Operating Systems, Networking and Cybersecurity Instructor to be located at Spring Hill High School for Dual Enrollment CTE students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Minimum three (3) years of successful experience in information technology &amp; security within the last five years.</li>
<li>Post-secondary Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology or related field required.</li>
<li>Evidence of potential teaching ability.</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Current CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and Microsoft certifications are preferred.</li>
<li>A.S. or B.S. Degree preferred.</li>
<li>Prior teaching experience preferred.</li>
</ul>
SKILLS
<ul>
<li>Possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with high school CTE students as well as faculty, staff, the public, and business/industry representatives.</li>

<li>Provide theory and hands-on skills instruction to high school CTE students in areas including, but not limited to, troubleshooting, system architecture and protocols, software applications, hardware assembly and repair, backup strategies, networking and configuring computers, and related peripheral devices.</li>
<li>Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual CTE students’ performance and progress; maintain appropriate records; prepare and submit timely reports.</li>
<li>Participate in in-service training, workshops, and other programs for professional growth.</li>
<li>Participate in student organizations (SkillsUSA, etc.).</li>
<li>Maintain a well-organized, safe, and clean lab and/or classroom.</li>
<li>Be responsible for equipment and supplies assigned to the lab and/or classroom.</li>
<li>Supervise and follow-up on CTE students participating in Work-Based Activities.</li>
<li>Teach the Work Ethics curriculum.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as directed and assigned by the administration.</li>
</ul>
