General Summary
Full-time, 12-month faculty employee contract -The normal workweek requires a five-day workweek and includes a minimum of 37.5 hours per week at an approved campus work site for instruction, office hours, and community and college service.
Instructors are responsible for teaching students in our training programs in classroom, hands-on lab settings, and clinical, ensuring that they gain the knowledge and skills that are required for entry-level employment in their chosen field. Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, Dual Enrollment Instructors have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned college classes in area high schools, providing quality instruction for student learning and maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. College classes are taught at several area high schools using a variety of formats, (on-ground, virtual, online, and hybrid). Responsibilities for Dual Enrollment Instructors include: conducting classes using appropriate instructional practices, maintaining records of attendance, evaluating student performance on assignments or lab activities, assigning mid-term grades, assigning final grades, utilizing faculty feedback, completing mandatory training as needed, and performing other duties as assigned. Beyond teaching responsibilities, Dual Enrollment Instructors are also obligated to comply with and support college policies as set forth in the Strategic Plan, the College Catalog, the Adjunct Faculty Handbook, and the Employment Agreement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

management software, maintain appropriate documentation, and submit timely reports. The instructor&nbsp;
must also maintain good public relations with related business and industry, assist with advisory&nbsp;
committee duties, cooperate with outside agencies and supervise and follow-up on students&nbsp;
participating in cooperative education.
&nbsp;
Other duties include participation in curriculum development, student recordkeeping, and student&nbsp;
recruitment, placement, follow-up of program graduates, participation in professional development&nbsp;
activities, and participation in student organizations. Some travel is required.

POSITION SUMMARY Under the directive of the Information Security Officer, the cyber security analyst will implement security strategies and best practices in accordance with regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct or coordinate vulnerability scans and document findings and risk mitigation strategies. Implement, monitor and maintain preventive and detective controls. Operate, administer and monitor network and host-based intrusion detection/prevention systems. Roane State Community College is inviting applications for qualified candidates for a full time faculty position in our Mechatronics Program. The successful candidate will teach a combination of Mechatronics classes including introductory classes in electrical circuits, hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), as well as advanced classes in statics/dynamics, robotics, PLCs, and automated production technologies. Job Duties

An Associate degree in these fields in conjunction with relevant professional experience is also acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience in manufacturing technology-related programs. Teaching experience in post-secondary education programs. Master’s degree in suitable engineering discipline. Computer skills including familiarity with Desire2Learn (or other course management software), schematic design software, Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs. Knowledge of the role and purpose of the community college in higher education. Willingness to work with diverse student populations who represent a wide range of age, ethnicity, and academic ability.
