Job Purpose:&nbsp;This is a one-year Tennessee Department of Labor grant full-time position ending 06/30/2026. The purpose of this position is to organize meetings with local key stakeholders and assist the Director in communicating information about grant activities. The nursing facilitator will teach designated allied health training programs. This position requires oversight on online Allied Health training programs. The nursing facilitator will be responsible for scheduling and reporting clinical activities for designated programs. The nursing facilitator will perform at least 1875 hours on RHWDI grant activities. This position will involve administrative support for WFT Allied Health Director, as needed. 
Essential Job Functions:

This position will work 37.5 hours a week Monday to Thursday with a thirty-minute lunch each day.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of Technical Diploma in instructional area or equivalent higher education with credentials in related field. A comparable combination of education and directly related work experience may be considered. Minimum three (3) years of experience in the Diesel Mechanics field, preferably within the last five (5) years. Strong hands-on technical background in preventative maintenance, diesel engines, electrical/electronics, brakes, drive train, suspension and steering, and heating-ventilation and air-conditioning. JOB SUMMARY
Instructors provide high quality instruction to foster student learning while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online and at several locations within the 5-county service area. Instructors also maintain regular communication with students between classes and are responsible for several institutional duties such as committee work, assessment, registration, and advising.
In addition to the instructor responsibilities, the ECED Director leads the NAEYC accreditation reviews, reports, and site visits to ensure compliance and program quality. The director will develop class schedules and oversee faculty recruitment and training. The director will develop and implement marketing strategies while leading student recruitment and academic advising efforts. The director will build and maintain appropriate partnerships with local schools and organizations for field placement and program collaborations. The director serves as Chair of the ECED Advisory Board to help guide program development.

The ECED Director normally teaches four classes in fall and spring semesters with one class release time and an additional $1500 stipend for the summer semester.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICIATIONS

<li>Master’s degree in early childhood education or related field from a regionally accredited institution.</li>
<li>Minimum of four years of experience teaching and direct supervisory or leadership experience, which should include at least two years in each of the following:</li>

<li>Two years’ experience working in the field of Early Childhood Education. This can include, but is not limited to: preschool setting, early childhood facility, prekindergarten setting, elementary setting, early childhood advocacy, early childhood administration, etc.</li>

WORK ACTIVITIES &amp; EQUIPMENT
Job responsibilities involve maintaining two classroom/lab environments used to teach students using a variety of technology in and out of the classrooms. Computers are used extensively for instruction, documentation, and communication. Demonstrate and continually develop computer proficiency necessary for job performance.


JOB LOCATION
The position is an on-site role in the Mary T. Barker Humanities Building, located on the main campus of Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee. This will be the primary workplace, with occasional travel and/or teaching responsibilities to off-campus sites and local schools within the five-county service area and state-wide travel for TBR initiatives and state affiliate meetings as needed.

This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies.
Job Duties:
Teach courses via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities as assigned. Teach evening, weekend, off-campus, and distance-based courses as required. Submit class syllabus or update department syllabus at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of class or within seven days of the execution of contract. Regularly check your VSCC email and your departmental mailbox. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on the weekend. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar. Complete required College trainings. Complete all required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions and administer and return surveys by the required deadlines. Advise the Department Chair at the earliest possibility if you are unable to teach a class. Attend meetings as requested by the Department Chair and/or Dean. Minimum Qualifications:
Laboratory Adjunct: At least three years of continuous work experience as a dental assistant. Dental Assisting National Board "Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)" Credential. CPR. Didactic, Laboratory, and Preclinical Adjuncts: A graduate from an accredited ADA CODA Program with three years of continuous work experience. Bachelor's Degree. Dental Assisting National Board "Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)" Credential. Have a current Tennessee Registered Dental Assisting licensure. CPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
Collegiate level teaching experience.
