Job Summary
Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is seeking a collaborative and innovative individual with demonstrated experience and success in donor relations and fundraising to advance and support the mission of the college. This position will work collaboratively with college leadership, faculty, staff, and key external stakeholders to develop a comprehensive portfolio of donors. In collaboration with the Advancement Unit and the BCTC Foundation, this position is responsible for resource development and fundraising. The Director of Development reports to the Vice President Advancement and Workforce Development.




Job Duties:

<li>Builds, maintains, and serves as the primary prospect manager for a portfolio of donor prospects at a capacity level of $10,000 or more.

<li>Maintains prospect and donor contact information in the college and KCTCS fundraising database. 
</li>
<li>Cultivate prospects by initiating face to face meetings with the intention of engaging prospects with the college and advancing a conversation about philanthropic support.

<li>Manage annual, alumni, and major gifts campaigns to include: preparation of case statements, volunteer enlistment and training, prospect identification and involvement, corporate and foundation relations, proposal writing and review, and donor acknowledgement and recognition.

<li>Enhances and grows BCTC’s Alumni Association to include regular and effective communication, engagement, alumni activities, alumni development, and alumni giving.

<li>Develop a planned giving program including identifying strategies and resources.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be at least 21 years of age. Meet the requirements of TCA 38-8-106 and TCA 38-8-107 Qualifications of Police Officers. Out of state applicants are required to meet Tennessee P.O.S.T certification requirements within six (6) months of hire. Prior law enforcement experience as full-time certified officer must be within the past three (3) years. Must attend and successfully complete, annually, a department authorized and P.O.S.T approved in-service training course consisting of forty (40) hours of instruction. Job Summary
The Campus Assistant provides high quality customer service to prospective students, current students, parents, faculty, visitors, and community members to support the campus’ retention and expansion of student enrollment, strong community relations and inclusive environment. The Campus Assistant also provides administrative and operational support to the Campus Director including but not limited to procard edits, purchasing, budget processes, scheduling, promotional materials, campus tours, and campus events.




Job Duties:

<li>Serves as the initial point of contact for prospective students, current students, parents, visitors and community members contacting the campus by phone, in person or via email. Delivers a high level of customer service by being knowledgeable about all areas of the college and providing accurate information and/or making referrals to other college departments as needed.

<li>Provide specialized information to students and parents at campus to complete the admissions process, to receive financial aid, issues related to FASFA, add/drop courses, requesting a transcript, SAP documentation, tax transcripts, online courses, and applying for graduation. 
</li>
<li>Assists with daily activities of the campus including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, and distributing mail. 
</li>
<li>Develops and implements office procedures and methods. Oversees daily flow of front office functions for the campus. Aligns department/unit functions as needed - assist with orientation dates, advising schedules, campus tours, and financial aid dates on campus in an efficient manner. 
</li>
<li>Oversees campus work study students. Directs job responsibilities and monitors work and hours worked. 
</li>
<li>Responsible for purchasing for the campus and performs all procard edits and paperwork to support. Attend college wide budget update and training meetings.

<li>Performs assigned PeopleSoft functions. 
</li>

Position has dual role of teaching and serving as administrator leading and directing program, to include managing the daily operations of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program's Standards and Guidelines.
