Job Summary

The Undergraduate Resource Center is looking for a high level, professional support staff member that will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require the ability to maintain confidential data, provide high levels of customer service and the flexibility to work in a high demand office while meeting hard deadlines. The position entails comprehensive leadership and coordination of academic course scheduling and classroom space management within the College of Business & Economics. This includes developing semester scheduling timelines, training departmental administrators, and ensuring compliance with university policies. The individual must anticipate and resolve conflicts for specialized student cohorts, audit enforcement of course prerequisites, and maintain compliance with accreditation standards. Additional responsibilities include managing real-time schedule updates and communicating enrollment adjustments effectively to impacted students.

In addition to academic scheduling, the role oversees the administration of undergraduate scholarship processes for the Gatton College. This includes managing the scholarship application lifecycle, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and leading the Scholarship Committee through data-informed award decisions. The individual acts as the primary liaison for budget coordination, donor engagement, and compliance with scholarship regulations. They are also responsible for student programming logistical support, faculty onboarding processes, budget and financial reconciliation tasks, such as procurement and vendor management. This multifaceted position requires a blend of strategic oversight, operational accuracy, and strong communication across various administrative and academic functions.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. Training in Campus Management. Knowledge of Business degree requirements.
