Why This Role Rocks
We’re looking for an Accountant to join our rapidly growing Texas Roadhouse Accounting Team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting that supports our business at every level. If you’re detail‑oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, you’ll enjoy partnering across finance and operations while helping drive continuous improvement through smarter, more efficient processes.
This is a hybrid position working at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky
What’s On Your Plate
- Prepare journal entries, including accruals and reclasses, for P&L and balance sheet accounts
- Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items through fact‑finding and analysis
- Analyze monthly consolidated income statement fluctuations
- Manage competing priorities to consistently meet deadlines
- Partner with Support Center departments on company initiatives
- Assist with quarterly and annual audit requests by pulling supporting documentation
- Contribute to special projects supporting both field and internal initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline accounting processes
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive, non‑public information
Your Recipe for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or a related four‑year degree with at least 12 accounting credit hours)
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft D365, Power BI, or Cadency is a plus (but not required)
