Job Description:
This is a fast-moving and challenging AP environment, so we need someone who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate is resourceful, flexible, comfortable researching issues independently, and able to adjust quickly when priorities change.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, knows when to ask questions, and does not require constant direction to keep tasks moving.
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a fast-paced, high-volume AP department. This position requires someone who can work independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and confidently navigate a demanding workload with minimal supervision. This is a day shift position, Monday - Friday.
ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts for goods and services.
- Research and resolve PO, receipt, pricing, quantity, and invoice discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors, purchasing, receiving, and internal departments to resolve issues.
- Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding invoices.
- Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and accounting reports.
- Support payment processing and month-end AP activities.
- Help work through existing AP backlog while keeping current invoices moving.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Previous high-volume Accounts Payable experience required.
- Strong experience with three-way PO matching.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and journal entries.
- Strong Excel and ERP/accounting system skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School Graduate or GED
EXPERIENCE:
2+ years
plus at least two years of full cycle accounts payable experience.
