POSITION SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the administrative aspects of Accounting Transformation projects and initiatives, including: scheduling, budget tracking, communication with stakeholders, and ensuring tasks are completed on time, all while supporting project managers in achieving project goals by coordinating team efforts.

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Assisting with the creating of project timelines, assigning tasks to team members, and monitoring progress against the schedule
  • Assist with tracking project expenses and reporting budget status to the project manager
  • Facilitating communication between team members, stakeholders, and vendors through regular meetings, updates, and reports
  • Administrative Support: Managing project documentation, creating reports, maintaining project files, and handling logistical arrangements
  • Meeting Coordination: Scheduling and managing project meetings, including agenda development and follow-up actions
  • Quality Control: Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Maintain project/initiative portfolio, providing regular updates to leadership
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and/or accounting teams to balance workloads during peak periods

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or related subject. Google Project Management Professional Certificate, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of accounting project management or related experience, and 1 year of general accounting or accounts payables experience is required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain detailed records
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication to keep stakeholders informed and address concerns
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct errors in project plans and documentation
  • Time Management Skills: Managing deadlines and ensuring projects are completed on schedule
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and Project Management Tools, including: Excel, DevOps, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and MS Project, Planner, Smartsheets, Asana, or ClickUp
