Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $33.24.Position Overview:
This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience. The AC&R Coordinator’s role is to plan outages, maintain the storeroom, order spare parts, and maintain equipment hierarchy in SAP. This position is also responsible for meeting facility targets for safety, productivity, and machine uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Scheduling
- Develop detailed work plans for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Scope work orders to estimate labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
- Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and impact.
- Coordinate with production and operations to minimize disruptions.
- Pre-kit jobs with required materials and return unused parts to inventory.
- Conduct planning and scheduling meetings to communicate priorities and track progress.
Inventory & Procurement
- Receive inventory in SAP; verify deliveries and stock items.
- Maintain accurate records of MRO supplies, spare parts, and tools.
- Complete requisitions and monitor inventory levels using SAP and other systems.
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with accounting.
- Manage repairable equipment process, including vendor coordination and documentation.
- Track spare parts purchases to meet monthly maintenance budgets.
Data & Documentation
- Maintain equipment hierarchy and BOMs in SAP.
- Update CMMS with work order details, progress, and completion status.
- Monitor KPIs such as equipment uptime and PM compliance.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Communication & Collaboration
- Liaise with maintenance technicians, engineers, supervisors, and vendors.
- Facilitate meetings to discuss upcoming maintenance activities and challenges. Assist maintenance supervisor in identifying and executing department training needs in safety and job-related skills.
- Coordinate contractor work orders, cost estimates, and safe execution.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Assist in developing and executing training programs for safety and job-related skills.
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 2+ years in maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience with asset reliability and failure analysis methodologies.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP, CMMS (e.g., Maximo), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, pumps, conveyors, HVAC, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
- Must be willing to respond to emergency situations outside normal schedule.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Engineering) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements of this position are: (these requirements are typical for most of our manufacturing roles)
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.
- Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling)
- The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment
- The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
- The ability to withstand the rigors of working a 12(or 8)-hour rotating shift schedule.
- The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
- The ability to reach or work above the shoulder
