
Adjunct Professor of Research and Data Science Education
Job Description:

This is an uncompensated, remote adjunct faculty position. Reporting to the Director of Research, this role will support research projects and scholarly activities through data management and analysis expertise.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as an investigator on research projects and scholarly activities
- Provides expertise in data management and analysis as a data scientist
- Advises faculty and students on research design, data collection methods, and statistical analysis
- Assists in developing research protocols and methodologies
- Contributes to the preparation of grant applications and manuscripts for publication
- Collaborates with faculty to advance the institution's research agenda
- Performs other related duties, as assigned
- Provides occasional instruction in areas of expertise, particularly related to research methods and data analysis
- Delivers guest lectures or workshops on specialized topics
- Mentors students involved in research projects
- Participates in curriculum development related to research and data science education
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATION(S):
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in data management and statistical analysis
- Experience with research design and implementation
- Proficiency with data analysis software and statistical methods
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
