The Administrative Director/RN in our Emergency Department is an experienced, masters prepared (MBA/MNA) Emergency Medicine nurse manager or Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with extensive clinical and administrative experience in Emergency Medicine. Oversees the daily operations of a busy 24/7 emergency service expected to serve 45,000 patients this year from a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population. Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the department’s ongoing service delivery system and redesign efforts.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements changes to clinical workflows and practices to support the department’s ongoing lean initiatives and practice guidelines
- Develops monitoring systems to support the delivery of high quality, safe and effective emergency care.
- Designs, implements, and oversees the department’s performance improvement efforts.
- Provides guidance, support and supervision for the care delivery team comprised of RNs. MAs, and clerical staff across all three shifts.
- Under the direction of the Medical Director provides guidance and support to the provider staff comprised of physicians and nurse practitioners and jointly supervises the Paramedics across all three shifts.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant or masters prepared nurse manager
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience ideally in an Emergency Department or in Critical Care
- Experience applying Lean concepts to clinical workflows a plus
- Experience serving a diverse patient population preferred
Salary
This role starts at $143,728.00 and goes up to $236,912.00 based on years of relevant experience.
