Job Summary
The College of Public Health seeks an Administrative Assistant to provide support for the Associate Dean for Academic Excellence and academic assistant deans. Duties of this position will include (but not be limited to):
- Processing travel arrangements which include flights, hotel reservations, transportation, etc.
- Track expenditures and reconcile cost center accounts on a monthly basis. This will include verifying appropriateness of charges and confirming all documents for transactions have been obtained. Reconcile travel reports, PRDs and procard transaction expenses to ensure timely posting and compliance with University rules and regulations.
- Support unit events by scheduling room reservations, creating and sending event invites, purchasing event supplies and food, and plan and schedule meetings under the direction of Associate Dean for Academic Excellence and academic assistant deans.
- Maintaining adequate supply inventory and placing orders as needed, submitting forms for purchasing.
- Letter and memo writing, meeting minutes, and scheduling appointments.
- Assist, identify, and change processes/workflows for improvement. Participate in continuous improvement activities and other duties as assigned for all processes. Update and maintain departmental SharePoint site and other duties assigned.
