Job Summary

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture Food and Environment, Kentucky Tobacco Research Development Center (KTRDC) seeks a candidate with

strong management and organizational skills to serve as the Budget Officer.

KTRDC central mission is to utilize plant-based technologies to benefit Kentucky agriculture. The Budget Officer is a valuable member. The Budget Offices helps to ensure the success of the unit by supporting the Director, faculty, staff and students with activities related to the business operations.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for human resources, fiscal management, and oversight of administrative tasks ranging from payroll, purchasing, to budgeting, forecasting and logistical support.

Additionally, the position coordinates all recruitment and hiring procedures for the department. This position includes excellent benefits and provides opportunities for professional development.
