Job Description:


JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified Administrative Specialist to provide principal secretarial support at the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), Cheatham Annex. This is a contingent hire, pending contract award. The incumbent will support the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Command Master Chief, and subordinate staff in the front office (building 565).



Minimum Qualifications:


Education:

  • High School Degree


Experience:

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in administrative roles

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in SharePoint
  • Familiarity with DMLSS, HIMS, or similar inventory management systems

Other Requirements:

  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to pass background investigation
  • Must complete required DoD/BUMED IT security training

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Provide principal secretarial support in the front office to the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Command Master Chief, and subordinate staff
  • Perform word processing, data entry, document management, and electronic mail transmission
  • Maintain organized records of all Civil Engineering Equipment (CEE), Contractor Material Requests (CMRs), Hazmat requests, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) data
  • Assist in managing supply requests and upholding safety regulations
  • Support inventory and equipment maintenance data systems
  • Support logistics and warehouse personnel, including delivery of supplies/equipment/furniture within the warehouse and outlying buildings
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and aesthetics
  • Prepare and submit daily time and attendance reports (by 0800 the following workday)
  • Maintain contractor personnel lists (monthly)
  • Prepare monthly performance reports (task progress/accomplishments)
  • Comply with all fire, security, and safety regulations
  • Participate in required training and maintain certifications as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Light to moderate physical effort required
  • Walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items
  • Lifting and carrying items over 45 lbs

Security Clearance:


Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
