Job Summary

The Endowment, Scholarship, and Grant Services Lead serves as a resource to the Student Success Philanthropy Director and Student Success Financial Business Officer, and unit leadership to provide recommendations, guidance and oversight related to available endowment and private gift resources, funding options, and EGATS implementation plans based upon thorough analysis of all variables. Monitors grant funding awarded to Student Success internal and external funders. Advise Student Success staff with proposal development, prepare proposal budgets in compliance with sponsor and university policies, prepare a variety of sponsor forms. The position monitors the scholarship award process through SAG form review and approval. The position is actively engaged in forecasting and support of ongoing initiatives. Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of Student Success endowment and gift analytics and compliance with University-mandated internal controls, works with other operational leaders to advise on matters concerning internal controls, fiscal planning, and HR strategy. This position demands critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to shared governance, as evidenced by consistent performance under challenging circumstances and tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a commitment to professional ethics, and a strong analytic background are key to success in this position.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and knowledge of UK business procedures, policies, and regulations.
