Job Summary
The College of Arts & Sciences Advising Center at the University of Kentucky is seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Administrative Support Associate I to provide high-quality front desk and administrative support. This position serves as the first point of contact for students and visitors, offering assistance with appointment scheduling and connecting individuals to appropriate advising resources. The role is also responsible for managing key office operations, including processing major changes in and out of the college, monitoring the central advising email, maintaining office supplies and technology, and supporting the center’s involvement in orientation events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to student service, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA regulations.
Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision-making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.
