Physical Requirements

This position involves occasional standing or walking while carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. It also requires frequent sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks such as typing.



Shift

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Occasional overtime may be required during peak volume periods.



Job Summary

The Administrative Support Associate I in the Human Resources Compensation Department plays a key role in processing Payroll Authorization Records (PARs).


This position works closely with departments across the University to ensure that personnel actions are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with University policies and applicable state and federal regulations. The primary responsibility of this role is to review and process payroll documents and transactions to support timely and accurate payments.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to customer service, collaboration, and confidentiality. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting HR operations through teamwork.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast-paced, high-intensity, professional work environment; knowledge of SAP, UK’s system of record; proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality and diversity.

Preferred Education/Experience

Department prefers an Associates degree or higher and experience with SAP.
