Job Summary
The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment’s Office of Philanthropy & Alumni is accepting applications for a Philanthropy Associate. This Admin position provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the office. This role serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and supports day-to-day operations, scheduling, communications, and special projects.
This individual will:
- directly support the office leadership including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
- serve as the primary contact for visitors, phone calls, and email inquiries
- assist in preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials
- maintain accurate records, files, and databases
- assist with event and meeting coordination, logistics, and follow-up
- other duties as assigned
This position requires you to:
- communicate and build working relationships with staff, faculty, alumni, and donors
- abide by university guidelines
- maintain confidentiality
- prioritize and manage work effectively
- positively represent the university
- participate in events at different locations both on campus and off campus
- work successfully in a team as well as independently
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be able to prioritize/be organized and strong communication skills. Required skills include experience with Microsoft Office, data entry, and calendar management.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Event, philanthropy and or higher education experience preferred.
