Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Scholarship Coordinator, the Administrative Support Associate will act as the front line person for students and parents visiting Student Financial Aid with external scholarship questions, documents, or checks. The successful candidate will also be a point of contact for Scholarship and Grant (SAG) forms for the university. Duties will include providing information, receipts, or directions to visitors, as well as be responsible for the data entry and physical documentation of external scholarships; both estimates and payments. The Administrative Support Associate will also prepare the daily check lot/deposit and provides assistance with billing and returning funds to scholarship providers. The person in this position should be able to work efficiently under pressure, prioritize tasks, be detail oriented and be able to solve problems, and maintain a professional composure with difficult clients. In addition, the successful candidate should be able to learn multiple information systems, and work proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Experience with MS Word and MS Excel; attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines; and apply information learned.
