Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; travel required, evenings/weekends may be required for demonstrations and field days.
Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment’s Department of Horticulture seeks an Agriculture Extension Associate. The Extension Associate will design, develop and deliver educational programs and resource materials in ornamental horticultural crop
production and marketing in concert with collaborating faculty as part of the team of Extension Associates. Travel is required. This position is funded by the Kentucky Horticulture Council.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
A working knowledge of general farm production practices and equipment. Computer skills for data entry and report generation are desirable; social media platforms, website, newsletter, listserv.

Preferred Education/Experience
Driver’s license and five years of driving experience preferred.
