Sitting and/or standing for long periods. Travel/driving van/car. Lifting/moving boxes, equipment – heavy lifting of objects over 50 lbs.

Shift

Monday-Friday; 8:00 am-5:00 pm; all shifts apply as position requires in- and out-of-state travel, and to include weekends.

Job Summary

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture Food and Environment, 4-H units seeks an energetic self-motivated candidate that possesses a strong work ethic with skills in technology and innovation for their 4-H Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation Extension Associate Senior position. This position will provide statewide leadership to support high-quality, future-ready learning experiences for Kentucky youth. This position integrates STEM program leadership, educational technology and instructional design, and artificial intelligence education to strengthen in-person, virtual, and hybrid programming. This professional will build capacity among 4-H professionals and volunteers, developing innovative curricula and digital resources, fostering strategic partnerships, securing extramural funding, and will use data-driven evaluation to enhance program outcomes and position Kentucky 4-H as a leader in youth STEM and technology education.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Energetic, self-motivated and possesses a strong work ethic with skills in leadership and communication. Previous work in youth technology education programming. Willingness to learn positive youth development principles. Customer service and coaching skills. Driving skills with up to 12 passengers. Computer skills to include: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

Preferred Education/Experience

MS in Information Technology or related plus 2 years related experience preferred.
Driver’s license preferred.
Complete 12 passenger van training upon employment.
