Physical Requirements

May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Daily activities involve repetitive motion.

Shift

Must be available to staff during the hours of M-F 7am-9pm, Saturday/Sunday 8am-5pm. Shifts to be rotating and may include weekends and holiday rotations. Hours and location of shift subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Job Summary

Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions. Establish safe practices for infusion therapy handling, as well as collaborating and communicating with multidisciplinary team members involved in providing services to patients.

PharmD and ambulatory/retail pharmacy experience preferred.
