The role involves engaging with stakeholders to ensure strong control governance, risk transparency, and alignment with enterprise risk management standards.
This role is a great fit for someone with foundational experience or exposure to risk and control concepts, whether through internships, academic projects, or early-career roles. While deep expertise isn't required, familiarity with risk identification, control design, or testing is important, as these concepts will be part of the day-to-day work.

This person brings a learning mindset, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and is eager to play a role in the ongoing RCSA transformation and broader risk maturity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, document, and maintain risks across Finance processes and systems
- Support and facilitate Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) with process owners and control leads
- Contribute to control testing and monitoring activities, including QA reviews and vertical testing
- Review and enhance existing control categorization and process-control mapping
- Help document updates to risk registers, issue logs, and risk profiles
- Participate in ongoing transformation efforts to meet second-line expectations and enterprise standards
- Share insights, observations, and risk themes to drive awareness and improvement
- Demonstrate ownership of deliverables, timelines, and quality of output
Minimum Qualifications:
- Analyst: 1–3 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, controls testing, or compliance
- Strong understanding of operational risk principles, control testing, and risk lifecycle
- Experience in interpreting data, identifying trends, and drawing actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and frequently
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional settings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk, Business, or Accounting; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CRMA) are a plus
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, GRC platforms, and/or dashboarding tools
- General understanding of financial services and regulatory expectations
- Prior involvement in control transformation or risk process redesign initiatives
