Risk Analyst - FFIO and Corporate Services
The FFIO and Corporate Services Risk team is looking for a passionate, hard-working team member to help support the business in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks in order protect the interests of the firm and our customers. The Risk Analyst is responsible for protecting Fidelity’s customers and associates and deepening their trust in Fidelity by partnering with the business to identify risks and develop innovative solutions to enhance controls, while fostering a strong risk mindset within the business.
The Team
The FFIO and Corporate Services Risk team plays a critical role in managing key operational risk programs across the organization. Key responsibilities include external audit coordination, incident and event management, vendor risk oversight, and other strategic risk initiatives. This team operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where the ability to prioritize high-impact activities is essential.
The position will primarily support Fidelity’s Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) business unit, which delivers essential middle- and back-office services for Fidelity’s retail and institutional products. These services include books and records maintenance, securities pricing, fund and security-level performance analysis, financial reporting, and tax operations.
This role is part of a broader risk team that also supports other FFIO groups and several of Fidelity’s Corporate Functions, including Fidelity Real Estate Company, Corporate Accounting, Corporate Treasury, Procurement, and Enterprise Human Resources.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s degree required
3-5 years of industry experience in financial services, risk management, audit, or compliance

Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and priorities
Presents information in an organized and professional manner
Knowledgeable and experience in data analysis techniques, executive reporting, and use of visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau)
Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and coordinated manner
Approaches work with an open mind and sense of creativity by challenging current practices and recommending improvements to mitigate risks and drive positive change

In this role, you will be part of a team that supports several key risk programs. The candidates primary responsibilities will be:
Utilizing data analytics and other tools to assess risk, control design adequacy and effectiveness
Demonstrating curiosity by challenging current practices and recommending improvements to mitigate risks
Working as part of a team to execute objectives, including collaborating with the business
Identifying opportunities to enhance tools, processes, and risk practices
Helps identify and execute initiatives to improve existing processes within the Risk team and foster a collaborative working environment, including management/team routines and use of digital technologies, as well as an agile approach to risk activities
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external audit teams, as well as business partners
