The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The Premium Products, Rewards & Benefits (PPRB) organization is part of US Consumer Services and is responsible for making membership essential through the sourcing and delivery of relevant, differentiated, and world-class products and benefits that drive demand and inspire card members to deepen loyalty.
Since its launch in 1984, the Platinum Card has been the pioneer and leader in the Premium Card space. The Platinum Card is built for today’s established professionals who expect exclusive experiences, rich travel and lifestyle rewards and best-in-class service whether they’re across the globe or at home city. Platinum drives significant topline growth and is a key contributor to the U.S. Consumer business. It’s also a flagship brand for American Express and drives meaningful consideration across the enterprise.
The US Platinum Product Management Team owns the product strategy, branding, value propositions, and P&L for our US Platinum product. This Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the marketing strategy for product positioning, benefit messaging, and Card Member experiences. This team member will partner with cross-functional partners to ensure we are delivering valuable benefits, exceptional servicing, and a personalized customer experience to our Platinum Card Members. This team member will also support critical run-the-business product functions, including budget management, legal and compliance reviews, and ad hoc marketing updates. This is a great opportunity to build a diverse set of skills ranging from branding to customer engagement strategy and partnership management.
This individual will work cross-functionally with key internal partners including Consumer Marketing, Content Management, TLS, Resy, Business Development & Partnerships, GABM, GCS, GCO, Privacy and Compliance. This role reports to the Senior Manager - US Platinum Card Product Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the marketing strategy for Platinum, including the Product’s branding, positioning, identifying target audience, and visual identity, and communicate the strategy to various Marketing teams across the enterprise
- Manage run-the-business functions such as budget, product-related marketing campaign execution, launch calendars and Customer experience monitoring and enhancement
- Work with cross-functional partners to launch new customer experiences and channels for premium products
- Support Platinum marketing operations requirements, such as creating and maintaining the Platinum toolkit, CDRC/CTC management, creative reviews, and monitoring Partner owned marketing assets
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors required
- Fun, energetic self-starter with “can do” positive attitude
- Team player with a passion to create the best customer experience for our Card Members
- Passion for and/or thorough understanding of the premium card marketplace and trends
- Solutions-oriented, strategic thinker with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Confidence, personal presence, and comfort interacting with all levels of the organization
- Ability to identify opportunities proactively and independently for improvement and drive results

Salary Range: $65,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
