North Idaho College's Workforce Training Center is seeking an Apprenticeship Manager to lead, grow, and oversee our dynamic apprenticeship programs in the trades and beyond. In this role, you'll coordinate day-to-day operations, supervise instructors and support staff, manage program budgets, ensure compliance with state and federal standards, and serve as the central liaison between NIC and industry partners. From scheduling courses and registering new apprentices to developing pathways in high-demand occupations, you'll be the driving force behind our mission to connect skilled workers with sustainable careers.
You'll also guide the development of federally registered programs, plan and market offerings, negotiate instructor contracts, and lead advisory board engagement. Your work will include analyzing workforce data, ensuring reporting accuracy, and maintaining partnerships that align with regional labor market needs. Whether you're reviewing out-of-state apprentice qualifications or ensuring continuing education unit (CEU) accreditation, your leadership will help shape the future of trades education in our community.
We're looking for someone who brings strong organizational and supervisory skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit. You should have experience managing programs or teams, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with attention to detail. If you're passionate about workforce development, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and enjoy building community connections, we'd love to meet you.
