
Assembler/Deburrer - Manufacturing - New Brighton
Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for deburring and assembling large and small components together, gluing, soldering and epoxying materials and parts together, operating mechanical assembly equipment and tools, packaging parts and assemblies and completing required documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deburr and clean more complex large and small components while following manufacturing processes and procedures using a variety of small hand tools.
- Glue, solder and epoxy materials and parts together.
- Have the ability to assemble some of the large and small components together according to customer specifications by interpreting blueprints and drawings while following manufacturing processes and procedures using a variety of small hand tools.
- Complete required documentation for all jobs responsible for including entering data into ERP system.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range for this position - depending upon skills and experience - $25 - $35
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Maybe able to complete 30% of the assembly projects, with a rating of 2 or higher on the skills matrix, at your location.
- Basic ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and possess a sense of urgency.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Experience setting up and operating mechanical assembly equipment and tools.
- PC Skills in a Windows environment.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Physical Demands / Working Conditions:
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, kneeling, sitting reach or otherwise move about frequently
- Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
- Occasional climbing to reach areas on machines or racks
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 35 lbs., team lift up to 70 pounds
- Performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
- Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
Salary range
- $25,000 - $35,000 per year
